• Don’t budge: To keep makeup long lasting, use a primer to help prep the skin. It will keep your makeup looking fresh and last for longer without the need to touch up.
• It’s all in the mind: Positive affirmation can do wonders with your body, not just your mind. Create a mantra to say to yourself whilst you go through your daily routine (such as ‘I have lovely glowing skin’). Most importantly, believe in what you are saying! The confidence you build will shine through.
• Not just in the kitchen:
  • For tired, stressed skin slather on some creamy mayonnaise. Lie down for about 30 minutes than wash off with cool water and continue with your usual skincare regime.
  • Make your own body scrub made from any base oil, sugar and/or seasalt. Add some essential oils of your own choice.
  • Add bicarbonate soda to your cleanser for a homemade facial scrub.
• Blemish Headaches: Take a few uncoated asprin pills. Crush the asprin together with a few drops of warm water till it forms a thick white paste. Spread onto your face and leave for about 10-15 minutes. Wash off, whilst massaging your skin. Your skin should feel radiant and soft!
• Fine lines: Find it hard to get perfect tips with a DIY French manicure? Paint your tips – doesn’t matter if it is uneven – then tidy it up with a cotton tip or a small paintbrush dipped in nail polish remover to get a nice even line.
